Field Artillery: Regular Army and Army Reserve
This volume gathers in compact form the official historical records of field artillery regiments in the United States Army in order to perpetuate and publicize their traditions, honors, and heraldic entitlements. It includes the lineages and honors of the fifty-eight Regular Army field artillery regiments in the force structure at the end of 1982. The lineages include the Regular Army and Army Reserve elements of each regiment that have been active since the inception of the Combat Arms Regimental System in 1957. Army National Guard regiments will be covered in a subsequent volume in the Army Lineage series.--Preface.
