I withdraw the nomination of five Public Health Service nominees to be Junior Assistant Health Service Officers: Kenia P. Altamirano, Rebecca M. Kibel, Timothy N. Onserio, Justin R. Plott, and Brandy Torres which was sent to the Senate on May 11, 2011. (See Executive Journal proceedings as of May 11, 2011, for complete list.)

Marina Garcia Marmolejo, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

Michael Charles Green, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of New York.

Wilma Antoinette Lewis, of the District of Columbia, to be Judge for the District Court of the Virgin Islands for a term of ten years.

Thomas Gray Walker, of North Carolina, to be United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina for the term of four years.

Charles F. Salina, of New York, to be United States Marshal for the Western District of New York for the term of four years.

Robert William Mathieson, of Virginia, to be United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia for the term of four years.

Ordered, That at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, the Senate proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of Michael H. Simon, of Oregon, to be United States District Judge for the District of Oregon; that there be one hour for debate equally divided in the usual form; that upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate proceed to vote without intervening action or debate on the nomination; provided further, that following the vote the Senate recess until 2:15 p.m.

Ordered further, That at 2:15 p.m., the Senate proceed to consideration of the nomination of Leon E. Panetta, of California, to be Secretary of Defense, that there be two hours for debate equally divided between the two Leaders, or their designees; that upon the use or yielding back of time the Senate proceed to vote without intervening action or debate on the nomination.

Ordered further; That the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate; that no further motions be in order to the nominations; that the President be immediately notified of the Senate's actions and the Senate then resume legislative session.
