Ordered, That at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011, the Senate proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of J. Paul Oetken, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York; that there be 30 minutes for debate equally divided in the usual form; that upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate proceed to vote, without any intervening action or debate, on confirmation of the nomination; that upon confirmation, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table; that no further motions be in order, the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action and the Senate then resume legislative session

The Senate proceeded to executive session to consider the nomination of J. Paul Oetken, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
