Mr. Yulee, from the Committee on the Post-Office and Post-Roads, to whom were referred, February 16th, the nominations of Samuel K. Huson, Francis M. Comfort, and Chauncy C. Britt, and February 8th the nomination of Benjamin O. Pickett, Sarah J. Seabolt, and Benjamin H. Lothrop, reported.

Whereupon

Resolved, That the Senate advise and consent to the appointment of the said persons, agreeably to their nominations respectively.

The Secretary of State, to whom was referred the resolution of the Senate of the 11th ultimo, requesting the President, "as far as consistent with the public interest, to communicate to the Senate the correspondence, instructions, and other information in relation to outrages committed on citizens of the United States on the Isthmus of Panama, State of New Granda," has the honor to lay before the President the

information of importance, yet, as it might not be advisable to make some of them public at this juncture, I have the honor to suggest that they should all be communicated in executive session. Respectfully submitted.
