If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? ૨૫ [વારૂ] ઇહોનનું બાપતીશન કૉંહીંથી થઊ આકાશથી અથવા માંણુશાથી તાહારે તેઓએ નાહાના બીચારીને કહું તે આપણે કહીએ કે આકાશથી તે તે આપણે કહેશે કે તને તેણેના પર કેન વીશવાશ કીધો નહી * 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. ૨૬ ને ને આપણે કહીએ કે માંણુશાથી તો લોકોથી આપણે ખી ીજીએઇએ કાંજે ઇહાનને ભવીશકેહેનાર જેહેવો શહુ માઁને 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. ૨૭ પછી તેઓએ ઇચ્છુને જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું કે હને નથી જંણુ તા તાારે તેણે તેઓને કહું કે હું પણુ કહા અધીકારથી એ કાંનો કહ્યું તે તમને નથી કહેતો 28 | But what think ye! A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard. ૨૮ પુણ તને ધારાછા એક જણને બે દીકરા હુતા ને તેણે પેહેલા પાશે આવીને કહું કે દીકરા તું આજ માહારી દરાખ વાડીમાં જઈને કાઁન કર 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. ૨૯ તાહારે તેણે જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું કે નાહારી ઇછા નથી તે પણ પછી તે પશતાઈને ગ 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. ૩૦ ને બીજા પાશે આવીને તેણે તેમજ કહું તાહારે તેણે જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું શાહેબ હું નઊંધું] તોપણ તે ગઓ ની 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. ૩૧ તે તે બંનામાંથી કોણે બાપની ઇછા પુરી કીધી તેઓ તેહેને કહેછે કે પહેલાએ ઇશ્યુ તેને કેછું હું તમને શાચું કહુંઊ કે હા હુ તથા કશબેણો તનથી અગાઊ દેવના રાજમાં નએછું 32 For John cane unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. ૩૨ કેમકે ઇહાન નીતીવાનપણાને મારગે તમારી પાશે આએવો તાપણુ તને તેણેના પર વીશવાશ ન કીધો પણ તાણીઓ તથા કશબેણાએ તેણેના પર વીશવાશ કીધો [એ] તેઆ પછી પણ તને તેહેના પર બીશવાશ કરવા શારૂ પશુતા ની 33 | Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: ૩૩ તને એક બીજું દશટાન શ ંભલો એક ઘરબારી હુતો જેણે દરાખવાડી રોપી ને તેહેની આશપાશ વાડકીધી ને તેણેમાં દાખના શનો કુંડ ખોદીને કીધો ને નાતો બનાએવો પછી તે [વાડી] માલીઓને શોંપીને પાતે પરદેશ ગ 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. ૩૪ ને ખ઼ની રત આવી તારે તેણે પાતાનાં લ લેવા શારૂ પાતા ના ચાકરીને તે માલીઓની પાશ નાકલા 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. ૩૫ તાહારે તે નાલીઓએ તહુના ચાકરીને પકડીને એકને મા ને એકને ભાવીનાંખા ને એકને પથરે નારા 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first : and they did unto them likewise. ૩૬ વલી તેણે પહેલાં કરતાં વહતા બીન ચાકરીને માલા પણ તેઓએ એને તેમજ કીધું 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. ૩૭ તાારે ઘેલા તેણે પોતાના દીકરાને તેની પાશે નોક લતાં કહ્યું કે નાહારા દીકરાથી તે દખશે 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. ૩૮ પણ માલીઓએ દીકરાને દેખીને માહાના કહું કે વારશ એ છે આવા આપણે હેને નારીનાંખીએ ને હેનો વારો લઇએ 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. ૩૮ તાલુારે તેઓએ તેહેને પકડી ને દરાખવાડીમાંથી બાહાર કા હાડીને ભાીનાંખો 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? ૪૦ એમાટે નારે દરાખવાડીના ધણી આવશે તાહાર ત માલી ને તે શું કરશે * 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. ૪૧ તેઓ તેહેન કહેછું કે તે ભુંડાઓનો નાશ ભુડી તરહ તે કરશે ને જે બીન માલી તેની રતે લો તેહેને પાહોંચાડશે તેઓને દરાખવાી શાપશે 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? ૪૨ ઈશ્યુ તેને કહેછે કે જે પથરને ઘર બાંધનારાઓ ના પચંદ કીધો તે ખુન્નુારું નથાળું થઓ એ પરભુથી ખરું ને આપણી નજરમાં અચરત લાગ, એ શું તને શાશતરનાઁ કદી નથી વાંચું 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. ૪૩ એમાટે હું તમને કહુંોં કે દેવનું રાજ તમારી પાશેથી લેવાશે ને જે દેશના તેહુનાં ણ આપશે તેને અપાશે 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. ૪૪ ને આ પથ્થર પર જે પડશે તે ભળશે પણ જે પર તે પડશે તેહેનો સુરા કરશે 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. ૪૫ ને સુખી ઈઆજકાએ તથા પાીશીએ તહુનાં દરશટાનો શાંભલીને જાંણું કે તેઓજ શનધી તે કહ્યું 46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet. ૪૬ પણ નારે તેએ એ વહુને પકડવા ચાહો તાહારે લોકોથી તે બીધા કાંજે લોકો તહેને ભવીશકોહેનાર જડ્યો માંનતા હુતા CHAP. XXII, બાવીશમો અધી 1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, ૧ તાહારે ઈશુએ જવાબ દેતાં વલી તેઓને દરશઢાનોમાં કહું 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, ૨ કે આકાશનું રાજ એક રાનના શરખું છે જેણે પોતાના દીકરાનાં લગનનું જનણુ કીધું 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. ૩ ને લગનને શારૂ જે નોહાતરાઆહુતા તેઓને તેડવા માટે તેણે પોતાના ચાકરોને નાકલા પણ તેઓએ આવવા ન ચાહું 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready : come unto the marriage. ૪ તેણે વલી ખીન્ન ચાકરોન મોકલતાં કહ્યું કે નોહોતરેલા આને [અન] કાહા જી ને નાહારી રશેાઈ તઈઆર કીધીકે ના હારા બલદ તથા નર્યાં ઢોર મારીનાઁખાંછું ને ઘલાં તઈઆર [છે] લગનમાં આવા 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: ૫ પણ તેઓ તરાડીનાંખીને ચાલાગઆ એક તો પોતાના ખેતરમાં ને ખીને પોતાના વેપાર પર 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. ૬ ને બાકીનાઓએ તેઢુના ચાકરીને પકડા ને શુતાવીને ભાવીનાંખા 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. ૭ તાહારૂં રાન્ત શાઁભલીને શુશે થ ને તેણે પોતાનાં લશકર મોકલીને તે ખુનીઓને માીનાંખા ને તેઓનું શહેર બાલીનાંખું 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready but they which were bidden were not worthy. ૮ પછી તે પોતાના ચાકરીને કહેછું કે લગનનું જનણુ તઈઆર છે ખરૂ પણુ નહીતરેલા લાએક નહોતા 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 123 |
