are remaining a few names of persons of note which it is proper to add to this Contribution. In this list appear 2 servants of STEPHEN PAYN, the king's almoner; RALPH DE LA POLE, Esquire, of the king's own retinue; Mr. LEWIS, the king's armourer; 4 persons connected with the DEAN of the KING'S CHAPEL; ROBERT [FELTON], clerk of the king's closet, and 9 other persons bracketed with him, who appear to be priests; a servant of Mr. THOMAS REDBORNE, the king's chaplain; three archers of the king, under the command of ROBERT Davenport, Esquire; 4 valets connected with the serjeant of the king's wardrobe; 6 valets belonging to the office of Tents and Pavilions, together with many other inferior persons connected with the royal household. Three archers, 3 valets, and 2 pagets, attendants on the BISHOP OF NORWICH, who himself, as we learn from other authorities, died in this expedition.

There still remains another small body of documents, which supply a name or two, or add a fact to what has already been told, viz., notices of sundry of the prisoners taken in that expedition, rendered by the captors, among whom are SIR JOHN GREY, SIR HENRY FITZ HUGH, JOHN PYMPE, Esquire, WILLIAM FITZ HENRY, Esquire, ROBERT LORD WILLOUGHBY OF ERESBY, SIR ROGER FENES, SIR ROWLAND LENTHALL, SIR WILLIAM TRUSSELL, and SIR HENRY HUSSEY; most or all of which names have appeared before. WILLIAM BRICE accounts for the maintenance of William Englois, the king's prisoner, from the 20th of November, for several months onwards, but whether he was the actual captor does not appear.
