On request by Mr. Reid and by unanimous consent, it was

Ordered, That at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, January 25, 2010, the Senate proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of Rosanna Malouf Peterson, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Washington, with the time until 6 p.m. equally divided and controlled between the Senator from Vermont (Mr. Leahy) and the Senator from Alabama (Mr. Sessions), or their designees; that at 6 p.m. the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination; that, following the vote, a motion to reconsider be made and laid on the table; that no further motion be in order; that the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action; and that the Senate then resume legislative session.
