Mark xiii. 31. Heaven and Earth fhall pass away, but my Word fhall not pass away.

John xvii. 8, 20. I have given unto them the Words which thou gavest me, and they have received them, and have known furely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst fend me.

Neither pray for thefe alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their Word.

Heb. ii. 3, 4. How shall we efcape if we neglect fo great Salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him?

Coloff. iii. 16. Let the Word of Chrift dwell in you richly in all Wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Pfalms, and Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, finging with Grace in your Hearts unto the Lord.

Gal. i. 7, 8, 11. There be fome that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ.

But tho' we, or an Angel from Heaven, preach any other Gofpel unto you, than that we have preached unto you, let him be accurfed.

I certify you, Brethren, that the Gospel which was preached of me is not after Man.

1 Tim. vi. 3. If any Man teach otherwife, and confent not to wholesome Words, even the Words of our Lord Jefus Christ, and to the Doctrine that is according to Godliness,

He is proud knowing nothing.

2 Tim. i. 13. Hold faft the Form of found Words, which thou hast heard of me, in Faith and Love, which is in Chrift Jefus.

2 Tim. iii. 3, 14, 15. Continue thou in the Things which thou hast learned, and haft been affured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.

And that from a Child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wife unto Salvation, through Faith, which is in Chrift Jefus.

James i. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25. Wherefore lay apart all Fil thiness, and Superfluity of Naughtiness, and receive with Meeknefs the engrafted Word, which is able to fave your Souls.

But be ye Doers of the Word, and not Hearers only, deceiv ing your own felves.

For if any be a Hearer of the Word, and not a Doer, he is like to a Man beholding his natural Face in a Glass:

For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his Way, and firaitway forgetteth what manner of Man he was.

But whofo looketh into the perfect Law of Liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful Hearer, but a Doer of the Word, this Man fhall be bleffed in his Deed.

Luke vi. 47, 48. Whofoever cometh to me, and heareth my Sayings, and doth them, I will fhew you to whom he is like.

He is like a Man which built an Houfe, and digged deep, and laid the Foundation on a Rock: and when the Flood arofe, the Stream beat vehemently upon that House, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a Rock.

Pf. i. 1, 2. Blessed is the Man that walketh not in the Counfel of the Ungodly, nor ftandeth in the Way of Sinners, nor fitteth in the Seat of the Scornful.

But bis Delight is in the Law of the Lord, and in his Law doth he meditate Day and Night.

Pf. xix. 8, 10, 11. The Statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the Heart: the Commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the Eyes.

More to be defired are they than Gold, yea than much fine Gold: fweeter alfo than Honey, and the Honey-comb.

Moreover, by them is thy Servant warned, and in keeping of them there is great Reward.

Pf. cxix. 9. Wherewithal fhall a young Man cleanfe his Way? by taking Heed thereto according to thy Word.

12. Bleed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy Statutes.

But now is made manifeft, and by the Scriptures of the Prophets, according to the Commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all Nations for the Obedience of Faith.

To God only wife, be Glory through Jesus Christ for ever.

31 Rejoycing in the habitable part of his Earth, and my Delights were with the Sons of MEN.

32 Now, therefore, hearken unto me, O ye CHILDREN, for blessed are they that keep my ways.

33 Hear Instruction and be wife, refuse it not.

34 Bleffed is the Man that heareth me, watching daily at my Gates; waiting at the Pofts of my Doors.

35 For whofo findeth me, findeth LIFE, and fhall obtain Favour of the LORD.

36 But he that finneth against me wrongeth his own SouL: All they that hate me love DEATH.
