It is by no means an unpleafing mifcellany; containing, among other articles, fome agreeable anecdotes of Sir William Blackstone, and of Mr. Allen of Bath, drawn from perfonal knowledge. The poems are chiefly flight, but extraordinary for a nonagenarian, as the writer styled himself. We are glad to fee, at the end of the volume, the promife of a new edition of the Spiritual Quixotte, and other works of the amiable author, with his Life, partly written by himself, and completed by extracts from original manufcripts in the poffeffion of his executrix."
