yet they are the same number which was shewn unto John, in Revelation, 14th chap. 1st and 4th verses.---" And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from among men, having his Father's name written in their foreheads." For they will increase during the thousand years, until they become a number which cannot be numbered. And they are the same which are spoken of by the Prophet Isaiah, 65th chap. and 23rd ver. "For they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them."

It is written by the Prophet Zechariah, 4th chap. and 14th ver.---"These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

The anointed ones, spoken of in this passage, and being born of God, spoken of in the text, are one, and signify the man and the woman, that their bodies will be redeemed, by being anointed; for as the woman anointed the body of Jesus, and as it was afterwards anointed by Christ, which raised it from the sepulchre; so will his Spirit anoint and quicken the body of the man and the woman, which are the bones of the house of Israel, according to the words of the Apostle Paul to the Romans, 8th chap. and 11th ver., and Philippians, 3rd chap. and 21st ver.---their "vile bodies will be fashioned like unto his glorious body," and they will "stand by the Lord of the whole earth." For the Father, the Son, and the Spirit will be the life of them, and these three are one. For the fulness of the Spirit is the third character in the Trinity, signifying the life of the latter Eve being the bones of the whole house of Israel, having the life of Christ.

It is written by the Prophet Zechariah, 6th chap. and 13th and 14th verses,---"Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the

glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the Lord."

The two characters mentioned in this passage, between whom the counsel of peace is to be, which are the man and the woman, being the bride, the Lamb's wife, the bones of the house of Israel, are the same as the two anointed ones; and the same as those spoken of in the text, which are "born not of blood, nor of the will of man, but of God;" the Spirit being the life of their flesh, uniting them as God, seating them on his throne, at his right hand. And it shews also that his Spirit will build their temples, which are their bodies, and make them the temples of the living God, according to the words of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, 1st Epistle, 3rd chap. 16th ver.---"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"

The Spirit overshadoweth every man that feareth God, whether he be Hebrew or Gentile, which is given by measure, till the fulness of times, which is spoken of by Daniel, 12th chap. and 7th ver. And draweth him to seek for the saving of the soul; and when it resteth on them they prophesy, utter parables, and hidden mysteries, which the life of the blood cannot discern, without the fulness of the Spirit,

And, at the fulness of times, the Spirit will rest upon all Israel, according to the words of the Prophet Ezekiel, 39th chap. and 29th ver.---"I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel."

And the Spirit testifies of Jesus, and his works; and makes known every parable, and brings every hidden thing to light, to the bones of the whole

house of Israel; fulfilling the words of Jesus, in the Gospel according to John, 15th chap. and 26th ver. and 16th chap. and 13th ver.---" When the Spirit of truth is come he shall testify of me;" "He will guide you into all truth, and he will shew you things to So the old world is snared and confounded, seeing a new world made, and not able to enter therein.

come.

And the crowns which are mentioned unto four characters: the first is God; the second is the Spirit resting on the seed of the woman, the body of Jesus, for the preserving of the soul, till the fulness of times; the third, the Spirit resting on woman, and bringing forth a spiritual character, to rest on all Israel, which is the fulness.

For as the Lord took a rib out of the side of the first Adam, and made thereof a woman; so is the Spirit received from, the latter Adam, Christ, to second birth to Israel.

The fourth, is the bones of the whole house of Israel, which is called a woman, the latter Eve. And yet the Spirit is the third character in the trinity, resting on the fourth generation, which is to be gathered, within the third by the time being shortened, and these three are one; making one perfect God, and yet three persons, by the man and the woman being redeemed back to the image of God. Now God will be glorified, and it will be a memorial in his temple; seeing that he has made the house of Israel a new world, even a new Eve, with a life that dwelleth in light, not born of blood, spoken of in the text.

It is written in the Gospel according to John, 14th chap. and 17th ver-The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you,"

This also testifies of the new birth, which is spo

ken of in the text. The fulness of the Spirit of God will be poured out, and rest upon man and woman, and do his will in them, according to the words of the Prophet Isaiah, 44th chap. and 3rd verse, and 26th chap. and 12th ver.---"I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed." "Thou also hast wrought all our works in us. And according to the Revelation, 22nd chap. and 14th ver.---“ Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life."

Afterwards his Spirit will dwell in the temple of Israel, their blood being made flesh, according to the words of the Prophet Ezekiel, 37th chap. and 14th ver.---" And shall put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live." And it will change their bodies into the image of God, as the potter made another vessel, as it pleased him, the former vessel being marred, as it is spoken of before.

It is written in the Gospel according to John, 15th chap. and 5th ver.-"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing."

This also testifies of the second birth, which is spoken of in the text; for those that bring forth much fruit are the same that will be born again. And in the Gospel according to Matthew, 13th chap. and 8th ver., Jesus shews the different fruit that man will bring forth, "some an hundred-fold, some sixty-fold, some thirty-fold."

It is evident that there are three sorts of people spoken of here; and these all render fruit unto God; and none of them die the second death, which is the death of the wicked; for the scriptures testify, that they which die the second death have no fruit, till the final resurrection; but that God will judge between them and the author at that day.

Then those that seek for the fulness of the Spi

rit of God always to abide on them, it will shew them who they are that will render fruit an hundred-fold unto God; for by that fruit they will gain eternal life, neither will their bodies see corruption, nor their souls be left in hell: but their blood will become flesh, and quickened by the Spirit.

And this is the fulfilment of the promise made unto Abraham, touching his son Isaac, in Genesis, 17th chap. and 21st ver.---"But my covenant will I establish with Isaac.'

And those that have rendered fruit sixty-fold are they that have been overshadowed by the Spirit of the Almighty, by measure, and have sought for the saving of the soul, whether Hebrew or Gentile; though their bodies are gone to corruption, and their souls are under the altar, with the fruit of sixty-fold, yet at the first resurrection they will gain a body as the angels, the angels being lower than God, and higher than the first Adam, and are as those that have rendered fruit sixty-fold.

And those that have rendered fruit thirty fold, is the fig-tree, which is spoken of in Luke, 13th chap. 7---9 ver.---"Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come, seeking fruit on this fig-tree, and find none: cut it down, why cumbereth it the ground? and he answering, said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. And if it bear fruit, well and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down." (a).

And they are those whom the Lord will preserve in the hiding places, which are spoken of in Isaiah, 2nd chap. and 19th ver.---" And they shall go into

a The interpretation of the parable: The three years are three generations, since the creation, which are the six thousand years; and the year that the tree is permitted to be pruned, is a thousand years; that those who are not redeemed, their blood will be cleansed, by Satan's power being removed.
