unto thee with fatisfaction and joy, as the giver of all good; to love thee with all our hearts; to delight in thy service; to be thankful for thine innumerable, and undeserved mercies; to confide in thine all-gracious providence; and to yield an unreserved, and grateful obedience, to all thy holy commandments. Amen.
Charity to Mankind.
and mercy; as members of the fociety of mankind; and the common difciples of JESUS, we desire to put on bowels of mercy, kindness, compassion, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, forgiving one another. We would do unto all men, as we desire they should do unto us; and in the constant exercise of justice and honesty, humanity and mercy, fulfil the gracious purposes of thy providence, and live in peace and charity with all men.
a deep sense of our obligations, as thine offspring, and the sacred duties of our profession, as the difciples of JESUS, who hath called us to glory and virtue, and the joyful hope of immortality, we earnestly desire to maintain a constant government over ourfelves; to be sober, chaste, and temperate in all things; and to direct our views to a future state, in joyful expectation of thy mercy unto eternal life. Amen.

Ever present, most holy, and righ
teous God! before whom all things are open; may our hearts be upright in thy fight: in whatever station thou art pleased to appoint our lot; and whereever we are, in public, or in private, may it be our uniform and steady purpose, to discharge our duty with fidelity: may we never remove our integrity. from us: and in that folemn day when
thou supreme over all, shalt judge the world by JESUS CHRIST, may we be able to appear with humble confidence and joy; and be admitted into his glorious and everlasting kingdom. Amen.
Submision to the Divine Providence. O
LORD GOD, whose never-failing
providence ordereth all things both in heaven and in earth, and who art the Author of every good and perfect gift ;. we submit ourselves to the disposal of that wisdom which cannot err, and to the care of that goodness which is unchangeable and everlasting: lead us whither thou pleasest; place us in what circumstances thou shalt judge proper : we would do thy whole will with fidelity and pleasure; we would bear thy whole will with submission and patience: defend us, o gracious Father, from every real evil;
us every needful good; may all events conspire to the improvement and establishment of our virtue ; and may we be conducted by
thine unerring hand, through all the changes of this mortal life, and finally admitted to the everlasting habitations of the just, which thou hast promised to thy faithful servants by JESUS CHRIST, our LORD. Amen.

A Prayer for all Mankind. ALMIGHTY,
and everlasting GOD, who hast taught us to offer up prayers, fupplications, and intercessions for all men, we beseech thee to extend thy 'mercy and favour to all mankind : may all the families and kingdoms of the earth be brought to the knowledge, and pure worship of thee; the only true GOD: enlarge the kingdom of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that kingdom of truth and righteousness, which shall never be destroyed : put an end to all idolatry, superstition, and false religion : E

LORD GOD, high and mighty,
