GOD, the unchangeable, and everlasting fountain of life, perfection, and happiness; we lift up our hearts unto thee, the greatest, wisest, and beft of beings: from the contemplation of thy works, may we daily increase in the knowledge of thee; attain to more pure and worthy conceptions of thy nature, and providence; and ever manifest a becoming reverence for thy perfections; and a just concern for thine honour and fervice. Under a due sense of thine almighty power, we would avoid thy difpleasure,

Amen.
