General A& of Praife governor of all things; we GOD praise thee, we worship thee, the moft excellent and glorious being, infinite and unchangeable in power, wisdom, and goodness. People. Power, wifdom, and goodness, are thine, O LORD. Minifter. We praise thee, O GOD, we for Know magnify thee, for making known unto us these thy perfections; and ledge of bim by bis Works. The bea. venly Bodies, and that by thy works which we behold, thou art leading us to the contemplation and love of thee, the fountain of life, and the author of all good. People. With our whole hearts will we praise thee; and Speak of thy marvellous works. Minifter. With admiration and joy do we behold the beauty, order, and magnificence of thy creation: thereby are we led to acknowledge thine eternal being and providence; and to worship thee, the author and conductor of all things. People. All thy works praise thee, and we thy people bless thee. Minifter. In wisdom haft thou stretched out the firmament, and the heavens are the work of thy hands; the fun, moon, and stars thou haft haft ordained to fulfil thy pleafure: thefe declare thine almighty power, and univerfal goodness. People. The heavens, and all the hofts of heaven worship thee. Minifler. The air which we breathe is thy wife provifion; thou coverest the heavens with clouds; thou prepareft the rain, and the dew; thou causeft thy winds to blow; thou sendest forth thy commandment; all things are obedient to the voice of thy word. The conftant fucceffion of day and night; and the grateful return of fummer and winter, feedtime and harvest, are the gracious appointments of thy providence. People. The birds of the air, the fishes of the fea, and the cattle upon a thousand hills are thine; thou fendeft forth thy fpirit, they are created; thou reneweft the face of the Earth. People.
