N thee, O GOD! we ftill depend, Our father, and our conftant friend; All that is good thou can't fupply, all threat'ning evil by. And put II. Should wars on ev'ry side invade, Nor want, nor harm, nor danger fear. III. We'll ftill refer ourfelves to thee, IV. 'Tis GOD that lifts our comforts high, Or finks them to the grave; He gives, and bleffed be his name, He takes but what he gave. IV.
