CAUTION.

The high reputation PRINCE'S RUSSIA OIL has approved above all other Preparations for preserving the Hair, has induced a mean person to impose on the public a counterfeit, by the assurance of asserting himself to be the real Proprietor; and, in order to deceive, has imitated the Russian Eagle in the show-bills and wrappes that inclose the bottles. The Proprietor cautions against this imposition, by assuring that none are genuine but what have a label on the outside of each bottle, signed in red ink "Mochrikufsky and Prince." Purchasers ought to observe this signature, as that cannot be imitated without subjecting the parties to forgery--Mr. Prince, original Proprietor of the Russia Oil, offers five hundred pounds if it can be proved there ever was an article for the growth of hair of that name, before discovered by himself; therefore, any articles of that naine, which have not the above signature, are counterfeits, and the circulators impostors. It is neces sary to inform Country Venders, that the Proprietor - does not travel, having venders in principal towns, but guards against persons that practice travelling with this

Recent attempts having been made to mislead the Nobility, Gentry, and others, under a pretext of some individual, or individuals, possessing an exclusive knowledge in the art of preparing this much admired Cosmetic, JOHN THOMAS RIGGE, Perfumer, Manufacturer, and Distiller, No. 65, Cheapside, conceives it incumbent upon him, for the purpose of sustaining that liberal and distinguished confidence with which his Articles of Perfumery have always been accepted, to state that the genuine Milk of Roses has been prepared with encreasing reputation for the last twenty years under the immediate direction of his late Partner, who conducted Mr. Warren's business; he therefore avers, that any Person arrogating to himself an exclusive knowledge of its preparation is an impostor; and engages that such Milk of Roses as is obtained at his Warehouse shall (for its salubrity and pleasant effect) defy a comparison with any other sold in the City of London.
