WE do not prefume to come to this thy Table, O merciful Lord, trusting in our own righteousness, but in thy manifold and great mercies. We are not worthy fo much as to gather up the crumbs under thy Table. But thou art the fame Lord, whofe property is always to have mercy: Grant us there. fore, gracious Lord, fo to eat the flesh of thy dear Son Jefus Chrift, and to drink his blood, that our finful bodies may be made clean by his body, and our fouls washed through his moft precious blood, and that we may evermore dwell in him, and he in us. Amen.

Then fhall the Minister first receive the Communion in both kinds himself, and then proceed to deliver the fame to the BiShops, Priefts, and Deacons in like manner (if any be prefent and after that to the people alfo in order into their hands, all meekly kneeling. And when he delivereth the Bread to any one, be fhall jay;

THE HE Body of our Lord Jefus Chift, which was given for thee, preferve thy body and foul unto everlasting life. Take and eat this in remembrance that Chrift died for thee, and feed on him in thy heart by faith with thanksgiving.

And the Minifter that delivereth the cup to any one, shall fay; THE HE Blood of our Lord Jefus Chrift, which was fhed for thee, preferve thy body and foul unto everlasting life. Drink this in remembrance that Chrift's Blood was fhed for thee, and be

thankful.

If the Confecrated Bread or Wine be all spent before all have communicated, the Prieft is to confecrate more, according to the Form before prefcribed: beginning at Our Saviour Chrift in the fame night, &c.] for the bleffing of the Bread; and at [Likewife after Supper, &c.] for the bleffing of the Cup.

When all bave communicated, the Minifter fhall return to the Lord's Table, and reverently place upon it what remaineth of the confecrated Elements, covering the fame with a fair

Lord and heavenly Father, we thy humble fervants entirely defire thy fatherly goodnefs, mercifully to accept this our facrifice of praife and thankf giving; most humbly befeeching thee to grant, that by the merits and death of thy Son Jefus Chrift, and through faith in his blood, we and all thy whole Church may obtain remiffion of our fins, and all other benefits of his paffion. And here we offer and prefent unto thee, O Lord, ourfelves, our fouls and bodies, to be a reasonable, holy, and lively facrifice unto thee; humbly befeeching thee, that all we who are partakers of this holy Communion, may be fulfilled with thy grace and heavenly benediction. And although we be unworthy, through our manifold fins, to offer unto thee any facrifice; yet we beseech thee to accept this our bounden duty and fervice; not weighing our merits, but pardoning our offences, through Jefus Christ our Lord; by whom, and with whom, in the unity of the Holy Ghoft, all honour and glory be unto thee, O Father Almighty, world without end. most heartily thank thee, for that thou doft vouchfafe to feed us, who have duly received thefe holy Myfteries, with the spiritual food of the moft precious Body and Blood of thy Son our Saviour Jefus Chrift; and doft affure us thereby of thy favour and goodness towards us; and that we are very members incorporate in the myftical Body of thy Son, which is the bleffed company of all faithful people; and are alfo heirs through hope of thy everlasting kingdom, by the merits of the most precious death and paffion of thy dear Son. Lmighty God, the fountain of all wifdom, who know eft our neceffities before we afk, and our ignorance in afking;

we beseech thee to have compaffion upon our infirmities; and thofe things which for our unworthinefs we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask, vouchfafe to give us for the worthiness of thy Son Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen. Almighty God, who haft promifed to hear the petitions of them that afk in thy Son's Name; We beseech thee mercifully to incline thine ears .to us that have made now our prayers and fupplications unto thee, and grant that those things which we have faithfully asked according to thy will, may effectually be obtained, to the relief of our neceffity, and to the fetting forth of thy glory, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen.

Upon the Sundays and other Hely-days (if there be no Communion) shall be faid all that is appointed at the Communion, until the end of the general Prayer [For the whole ftate of Chrift's Church militant here in earth together with one or more of these Collects last before rebearfed, concluding with the Bleffing.

And there fhall be no celebration of the Lord's Supper, except there be a convenient number to communicate with the Priest, according to bis dif

cretion.

And if there be not above Twenty Perfons in the Parish, of difcretion to receive the Communion; yet there fhall be no Communion, except four (or three at the leaft) communicate with the Prieft.'

And in Cathedral and Collegiate Churches and Colleges, where there are many Pricfts and Deacons, they shall all receive the Communion with the Prieft every Sunday at the leaft, except they have a reasonable cause to the contrary.

And to take away all occafion of diffention, and fuperftition, which any Perfon bath or might have concerning the Bread and Wine, it ball fuf fice that the Bread be fuch as is ufual to be eaten ; but the beft and pureft Wheat Bread that conveniently may be gotten.

And if any of the Bread and Wine remain unconfecrated, the Curate fball have it to his own ufe: but if any remain of that which was confecrated, it fall not be carried out of the Courch, but the Prieft, and fuch otber of the Communicants as be fall then call unto him, fhall immediately after the Bleffing, reverently eat and drink the fame. The Bread and Wine for the Communion fhall be provided by the Curate and the Church wardens at the charges of the Parish.
