1901. Or revelation and corruption. This volume searches the revelation with diligence and prayer. It begins with an investigation of the meaning and scriptural use of the word ecclesia, or church, and the author points out the practical bearings of that meaning and use. Following this is an attempt to discover what conditions and behavior the scriptures require of those who would be members of the now invisible church; what laws, ordinances and church-government they should be subject, and what gifts they should be endowed.
