Marquis was got by the Saanah Arabian, dam by Sampfon, grand dam by Regulus, gt grand dam by Ld Lonfdale's Bay Arabian, his gt gt grand dam by Jigg, his gt gt gt grand dam by the Curs win Bay Arabian.

The well-known Horse

CONTRACTOR, at Mr. John Howfe's, in Peaf cod-street, Windfor, Berks, at 2gs a mare, and 2s. 6d. the fervant.

He was got by King Herod, 'dam by Spectator, grand dam by Blank, his great grand damn by Chil ders, and was the dam of Mr. Vernon's Amelia.

CONUNDRUM, at Haflebury-Farm, Box, near Bath, at ig a mare, and 2s 6d the groom.

He was got by Match'em, his dam by Squirt, fire of Syphon and Marfk, and is own brother to Pumpkin, Mifs Timms, Maiden, and Purity, the dam of H. R. H. P. of Wales's Rockingham. He is 15 hands and a half high, master of great weight, and free from all blemishes.

He is a crofs for Snap, Blank, Herod, and Eclipfe mares. Not more than fix of his get have ftarted, out of which are Thetford,. Abadeffa, Bishop Blaze, and High Priest, who beat Buccaneer twice, very eafy.
