August 4, 1814.-Mr. Hase informed the gentlemen of the Stock Exchange this day, that the Honourable Directors of the Bank of England had resolved to make the remaining payments on the loan of 24,000,000, for the service of the present year, for those persons who request it, excepting the last, which is to be made by the proprietors as usual, and to be redeemed with interest at 5 per cent. per annum, on or before the 25th of February, 1815. Rates of Government Life Annuities, payable at the Bank of England. 3 per cent. Stocks being now 65, and under 66.

N. B. The annexed is a short scale of some of the rates, upon which Government are now granting Life Annuities: they are payable half-yearly, at the Bank of England, the same as the dividends, and may be received by power of attorney. The Life-Annuity Act having been amended, they may henceforward be purchased when the 3 per cent. Consols, or Reduced Annuities, are at or above 50.

Annuities are granted on Joint Lives also. Particulars may be had, grutis, at the Government Life-Annuity Office, Bank-street; or by writing to theSuperintendant, if the postage be paid.
