ards, or their Deputies, or to the Magiftrates of Royal Boroughs; or if it shall appear to any of them, upon fuch Enquiry as aforefaid, that any Offence has been committed against this Act, for which the Penalty of Tranfportation, or Imprisonment for Life, is hereby inflicted, then fuch Sheriff, Steward, his Deputy, or other Magiftrate, fhall cause Intimation to be intimated to be made thereof in Writing, to His Majefty's Advocate for Scotland, who is hereby required to profecute the fame with Effect. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That Perfons refort- if ing to unre- any Perfon, at any Time afgilter'd Meet- ter the faid First Day of Seping-houses,&c. tember, fhall refort to, or frequent any Epifcopal Meetinghoufe or Congregation in Scotland, whereof the Paftor's or Minifter's Letters of Orders fhall not be entered on Record, or registered as aforefaid, or to the King's Advocate. whereof whereof a Certificate of the Pa- feit the Sum of Five Pounds the Penalty. B 3 thereof. -18 Anno Regni decimo nono thereof to the Ufe of His Majefty, His Heirs, or Succeffors; and the Other Moiety to the Ufe of fuch Person who fhall give Information of the faid Offence, and fuffer Imprisonment by the Space of Six Months, unless or until the fame be paid; and for the Second, or any fubfequent Offence, being thereof lawfully convicted before the Court of Jufticiary, or in any of the Circuit Courts, shall suffer Imprisonment for the Space of Two Years from the Date of fuch Conviction..
