The following statements of the religious denominations in the United States, drawn from the Journal of the American Education Society, are not presumed to be exact; but the editors of that work have taken much pains to make it as nearly so, as the nature of the subject woulil admit. 29. METEOROLOGY. The two following tables show the results of observations taken at several of the Military Posts in the United States; selected from Dr. Lovell's Meteorological Register, and from other materials furnished by him. The observations were taken at 7 o'clock in the morning, and at 2 and 9 in the afternoon, and from these the aggregate means are deduced.
